Refuge for Cusco's Street Dogs

We are two volunteers seeking to raise awareness of the critical needs at the Refugio Privado de Perritos Soy Callejeritos in Cusco, Peru.  We have seen first hand the struggle and love that goes into caring for the dogs, and know that more should be done. Without government support, the Refuge relies solely on volunteers and donations. Many of the dogs rescued require serious medical treatment and longterm care. In addition, the daily expense of food is sometimes too much for the little shelter to bear. Our mission is to spread the word about the shelter, encourage individuals to volunteer, and raise money to help the shelter meet the most basic of needs.

We are not here to judge the culture of Peru, we simply want to help.
